I do agree that diets for young idols should not be happening, or dangerous diets in general. Young idols should be protected by their companies from creeps, but that doesn’t mean everyone who stans them is a creep

I do not agree with the baby formula at all, that is so sad that the company is doing that to them. I just kind of lumped that in with the diet comment, but yes, that is sickening to see. I agreed with like 95% of the thread. The only thing that bothered me was the last part that assumed everyone who like CLASS:y is a creep/pedo which is not the case. Yes, it is disgusting and truly awful that the fandom unfortunately does have some people like that, but it is an untrue generalization. I’ve had the opportunity to get close with some fandom members through a Discord modding experience, and they, just like myself, feel like they want to protect the group like a parent would.

Yes the kpop industry is completely fucked up, and it allows for people to have these creepy and delusional fantasies (not everyone has these but like it’s an open door for it to happen). Companies should care more about the idols they debut but they simply don’t which is truly devastating

Not to mention most companies don't care for the safety of their idols, allowing for anything to happen. Take the aespa situation for example.

And I think there was a time when a fan just walked up onto stage and attempted to kidnap a gg member. While it was stopped, I could never understand while it was allowed to happen in the first place. :/

The youngest member was 13 when they joined the survial show they were formed through. She’s 14 now. Prior to that she was on CAP-TEEN which would’ve made her 12 at the time. So we can trace back her training period at least two years before debuting but probably more

That Aespa situation was totally messed up as well. They had a history of sending their ggs (I can’t remember which one off the top of my head) to that school and it didn’t end well. So why in their right mind would they do it again?? Especially with minimal security. Like what was the company thinking?????
