some people are easy to guess because they just casually use a lot of slang in their writing.
others are very eloquent and well-spoken so I am often surprised.

I am not a native speaker and really not very intelligent so most people think I am way younger.

a bit older than you really are. you can get superhyped about your biases which is an easy indicator that the writer is a bit younger, but you are very well-spoken so I would have said you were 18-20.

I mean, if I were younger, that could have been said. but I am quite old and my grammar is really bad. I also don´t have very advanced vocabulary, but thank you for the encouragement! :)

Don’t be so hard on yourself! From what I’ve seen your grammar is pretty good for someone who’s mother tongue isn’t English. Even if you don’t think it’s perfect, then that’s ok. I’ve been speaking the language all my life, but even then I still mess up my grammar often And just because you’re older doesn’t mean your vocab has to be the most eloquent. Fluent ≠ knowing every word in the dictionary. I hope this makes you feel better about speaking English, because it’s honestly not as bad as you perceive it as. In fact, it’s not bad at all :)
