mine probably aren't misconceptions cuz they true. We do like basketball (it's even called a '2nd religion' here) and consume a lot of alcohol, ig it just doesn't rain that much here. Most people are also not that grumpy as it might seem from the first look Ig you could also call them stereotypes in this case.

That they’re all mean and never smile. They don’t smile at strangers, that’s true, but they do at friends and stuff. People are just not used to the culture being different and they automatically assume the worst.
