I have a job interview in a few hours. I will be dressing more fancy than just sweatpants and a hoodie LOL. I’m also preparing questions to ask them about the position​

i always check the company's website and any big articles i can find about them, try to figure out what their core values are, look at some of their past projects etc.
i also try to prepare for any technical questions they might ask and think of a response for those "why do you want to work here/why should we hire you" questions

• agree with soogi, check their website
• tell them what you like about them (for example: I really like your concept and what you are doing for the kids etc.) so they see you are serious
• don´t paint yourself perfect but also make sure to mention that you are ready to learn and you are prepared for the difficulties
• if there is anything that is on your demand list tell them (for example: I will not work extra hours .... , I need more time in the morning etc. so that they know beforehand). some people don´t mention those and I feel it´s back stab-y
• imagine that you are a star doing an interview and you are a star, but I am sure you have seen an interview with a celebrity so imagine you are in one of those talk shows
• get ready for the "where do you see yourself in 5 years question"
• get your certificates, diplomas etc. ready (some employers want to see them on the first meeting. most don´t but you never know)
• understand that it is not just you needing them but it also them needing you. it´s okay, they are nervous too. think about it as the poor person being there to interview and not really know what to do! you would be surprised by how some principals are scared to do job interviews!
