I hope everyone is doing okay, and is taking care of themself. I know the things going on today are very mentally draining so take a step back sometimes to take care of your health. I’ve put a lot of timers on my devices to make sure I stay off at certain times so I’m able to focus on just watching a movie, or making a small snack.

You are all wonderful.

It’s only when I take a step back and look at everything that’s happened individually that I realise how tough these last few months have been. In fact I’d say this has been the hardest period of my life. I haven’t been the same. Developing anxiety has ruined a lot for me. It’s probably one of the core reasons I’m in the state I am right now. I could write out a whole separate paragraph listing all my worries over the last 8-9 months🫠but I’m also trying to keep in mind this is a public forum so I’m going to attempt my best at not oversharing.

I did so much to prevent my spurs of anxiety. I tried every trick in the book, went to therapy and did many other things to get my mind off it. They all worked for a bit but at the end of it all I was just pushed back to square one. This really concerned me, I thought: “how am I going to get out of this?! Nothing is helping me” I got to a point where it was becoming so bad I harmed myself. Once. Twice. Three times. I don’t know. I’ll never forget that.

Now I’m relying on one thing to help get rid of my anxiety permanently, and waiting for the results, so I haven’t had much improvement in a while and still getting anxious.

So much negativity has come out of my ___th year on Earth, and I feel hopeless things will change. But my family showed me that they have my back, and that gives me a little glimmer of hope that I’ll go back to being “me” again soon.

There’s so much more I can say, about everything. This is only the tip of the iceberg.

chae, idk what youre going through, but i really hope you learn to deal better w your anxiety. yk, i wouldn't blame you for hurting yourself. i completely understand what you felt like. but just ask yourself, was it worth it? did it really help me? i'm sure you'll find an answer. and in the end, its you who will help yourself, in becoming a better version of yourself. and you should always know that you can always talk to me as a friend. i'll always be there to listen to you. so don't ever hesitate ♡
