They didn't get paid until 2017 because of the debt.

However forgetting about the debt,do you think they are earning more now in comparison to when they were trendiest gg out there alongside twice?

2016: excellent charting,2 national hits, perfect all kill, most award winning gg of the year, albums didn't sell too much, ggs with no hits these days outsell gf 2016 physically. No concerts.

2019: average charting, less awards (only 1 week sweep), 91k+ album sales on way to 100k, Japan activities, Bloom Japan tour, Go Go Gfriend Asia tour. The stadiums that they are filling have shockingly high number of seats. Kuala Lumpur stadium has 13K seats,it's a stadium that only big 3 groups have performed there so far. 15k seats for Taipei as well.

It sounds they are earning much more now to me? Either way I hope the agency gives them decent amount of money and doesnt take it all.

They paid off there debut so without a doubt they are richer now than 2016. You make more money outside Korean then inside so there Japanese activities ADD UP. Plus doesnt album sales make more money than digitals. Gfriend are rich bitches

Yeah they got good phones and outfits.
All of them have Iphone X. I also remember seeing sinB wore LV scarf and Yuju with gucci shoes.

Dunno how rich they are, but they definitely earned a pretty good amount.

Also wanted to add if your from a Nugu Company you benefit more financially if you hit it BIG
How is that? I thought it would be the other way around, at least until they renew their contracts and can negotiate better terms for themselves. Obviously if we're talking about renewals then the nugu companies are gonna pay more for their big stars to stay under the company but when you're signing your initial contract, I feel like nugu companies are more likely to scam you because they aren't being monitored like the bigger companies are.

I’m talking about profit in your earnings like BigHit it’s a 50/50 situation we’re the artist get 50 percent but SM (idk if this is true) but they get 95 percent while artist get 5 percent reasons why touring is a huge thing is Big company’s because that how the artist makes big bucks. The investment into the artist is more more expensive in big3 than a nugu so debut repayment differs extremely between a nugu and Big3 Company. (If I’m wrong correct me)

Well, Big 3 companies don't have a break even point so regardless of whether your comeback makes money or not, you still get paid also Big 3 companies don't charge you for your training either so you start to get paid straightaway in a Big 3 company. SM does have bad distribution of profits but I think the amount of money SM groups usually make, the idols probably still make a lot more than most of their peers... Also if you're talking about BTS's contracts, they will have changed from the original contracts since they resigned with Big Hit last year and will have a new agreement with them.
