simple, your most memorable experience being called a koreaboo lol.
for me, it happened today.
I fainted and am home sick, so my mom was talking about a program on Sat. we had to attend and whether I could or not and I wasn't paying attention and she started talking dates. "April 7th, 5th, blah blah." she prodded me and I blanked out. "Wait, isn't Saturday the 6th?" she frowned and was like "noooo, it's the 5th." I realized I was running on KST because of BP's comeback today (it's the 4th where I live, but it released on the 5th in Korea lol). she started getting mad at me for that lol.
"you're always talking about bts, spending so much money on them, have so many posters and lights and cards in your room, learned korean and now you're talking KST time? are you a korearboo?" I burst into laughter because it's comeback season, so I'm on KST, I learned korean purely for fun, have the posters and everything because I hate the dark, so the lights make me feel safe with the posters of my o p p a r s above me, and it's not a korearboo, it's a koreaboo.

she looked angry, but started laughing and hugged me, apologizing and giving me some tea.
so now I'm in bed, drinking tea, listening to Hope Not and browsing KPS.

I haven’t ever been called one tbh, mostly because I just don’t talk about Kpop irl. It’s not that I’m embarrassed and want to keep it a secret or anything like that but I just don’t see the reason to talk about it with people who aren’t interested. And I don’t have merch because I don’t like asking my parents to buy me stuff, so nobody’s ever really asked. I see it as more of music I like, and the Kpop culture is just a bonus for me I guess.

Hope you feel better though. It sucks to be sick, tbh.

Tbh I’ve tried watching k-dramas but the ones I’ve watched are just so cringy and I haven’t gottten through them. But other than that I would love to travel their one day, seems like it’d be a fun trip.

Actually, I hear that a lot, lol. I think I’m just mature for my age, so that probably comes out in the way I type. It might also have to do with the fact that I really love writing and reading so I guess my vocabulary is more mature?

That’s actually a good idea. Maybe I should try learning Korean, since I do want to travel there one day. Top of the list is Italy, and then Paris, Thailand, Spain, Japan, and England. So many places I want to visit, lol.
