Quote of the Day (1 Viewer)

[raymondchouku]

"Life is like walking on a tight rope..."

To be honest, I made this up.. but with religious differences, political opinions, and dealing with generally different types of people tends to be nearly impossible in our modern world where everyone thinks their way is the only way...

Anyway discuss.

[Haiku]

[raymondchouku]

life is like eating pizza

As long as it tastes like pizza, but has the calories of a sugar free seltzer...

[Boyo]

I tried to think about something witty, but I failed. That's life.

[Michael]

Sweetness kills. Not a quote; but..... whatever.

My quote was We bathe in the light, but we need to swim in the darkness to reach the other side.

I’m Taoist and it’s basing your life around going with the flow and understanding there is good to the world, and bad. Just how there are many sides to you. I made that quote up, too.I like yours because it is true Making up quotes is fun

If there are any of you who have not seen Everything Everywhere All At Once, I apologize but this will be a spoiler quote.
If you are even remotely / slightly interested, please make time to watch it somehow. You will not regret it. Remember the film is rated R.

"Please! Please! Can we... Can we just stop fighting?
I know you're all fighting because you're scared and confused. I'm confused, too.
All day... I don't know what the heck is going on. But, somehow, this feels like it's all my fault.
I don't know... The only thing I do know is that we have to be kind.
Please.... be kind. Especially when we don't know what's going on."

~ Waymond Wong / Everything Everywhere All At Once
