Ever since I was little ive wanted a dog, and my mom always gave reasons why not to get one. Today, out of nowhere, my mom just randomly said that maybe we should get a dog and I'm so happy and shes actually serious and I might cry from excitement.
Also my little brother wants a pet unicorn too but that's going to be more difficult.

My father and I love German Shepards so we started to look at options around here, but they aren't exactly plentiful around here so were just looking at what options there are for adoption and rescue dogs near here, since we'd rather get one from them rather than a breeder or mill.

Oh one of my fave breeds! I've got a GSD x Siberian Husky cross that I rescued from one of our local rescues (happened to be volunteering there at the time, it was kind of perfect) when she was 4 months. She'd had a rough 4 months of life but after I adopted and worked with her she grew away from lost of her fears and insecurities. Best dog I have ever owned.

Her name is Alexandria but I've pretty much always called her Alex c:

All doggos are good doggos of course, but German Shepherds are so lovely. My aunt used to have one, and he had a great temperament and he was such a sweetheart too. And yeah I understand that, my family thought the same way when we were getting our 2 kittens. Good luck with your pet-searching! :llama_uwu:
