Maybe its the retro vibe. Everything old is becoming new again. Like I cannot tell you how many reaction videos there are for Golden Girls compilation videos. But I think the 90s in general is/are really big right now... But kids do like ghost stories and Unsolved Mysteries had a bunch of those and UFOs and tbh when I was a kid in 2000-2005 options [for me at least] were limited. I was basically watching The CSIs, Without a Trace, NCIS, JAG, the girl power shows [buffy, charmed, xena, etc.], and retro stuff when I was pretending to be asleep that was on Nick @ Nite, lifetime, and TVLAND like Roseanne, Golden Girls, The Nanny, Jeffersons, Good Times, Mary Tyler Moore Show et cetera.

I loved Nick at Nite! Those are great shows you mentioned. Do you happen to remember an old Nickelodeon show called "Are you afraid of the Dark"? We loved that show back in the 90s.
