I picked kpop from the list (durr), but Jrock would be the runner-up. Considering alternate realities where neither exist, I would probably go for electronic music as a 3rd but perhaps that is too broad.

Electronic encompasses so much that it would naturally be the best choice, especially if I'm looking for something that won't eventually be tedious or boring. We could still keep the electropop/EDM K-pop tracks in there I suppose.

I love K-r&b, but I think that's where you pick r&b and you'll be able to listen to all the artists of the genre in every language. There are a ton of r&b artists and it's pretty broad as a genre so it's definitely a good choice. If it's only Korean then the selection and variety would be a lot smaller. I'm not sure why K-hiphop is listed as specifically that and not just hiphop though.

And yeah, if I didn't pick classical can I not play it on piano anymore? I just wanna know.

But if I had to, it wouldn't be so terrible. There are so many artists around the world that even if I picked a genre like folk, a few years later I'll be digging Mongolian folk music with throat singing
