It's so sad that it would take a whole industry shift for us to ever stop idols training at a young age, because idols will also get heavily criticized for debuting at an "old age", for example I think Kahi was in her mid 20s when she debuted and she got a lot of shit and nowadays Shohei from the SMROOKIES is also getting crap for debuting when he is 26. A lot of idols feel like they have no choice or literally have no choice but to start training at a young age since a lot of companies will only accept trainees that are minors in the first place
