This past month has been nothing but binging NewJi content, I had my qualms about stanning a group with such young members but they completely won me over, they're all so cute and sweet and I love them so much you guys don't understand :taeilsob: the only time I fell so hard for a girl group was CLC

If my past aesthetics and this one weren't obvious, my bias is Haerin ever since I first saw her I knew she would be my fave, she makes me smile so much gosh she's so cute

their music surprised me, in a great way. i remember getting "Attention" recommended and had such a different vibe to most kpop releases, let alone debuts. i would probably be stanning them also, if not for them being so young. i think im like 12 years older than the maknae, so i just dont see it as appropriate for me to become a stan, besides the music part ofc

oh i recommend the music. all them r good, but Cookie has the sussy lyrics im sure u heard about. good song at face value, but the overall controversy ruins it completely

I agree, I think NewJeans has released some of the best songs this year.

I also think Cookie's Korean lyrics are innocent but don't want to waste energy on a discussion of the supposedly suspect English translation.
