Hello everyone, it's been some time since I've been online here

The past couple of months and weeks were really exhausting and strenuous but I'm still going strong.
While keeping up with most of the K-Pop releases I feel myself slipping away more and more from being a fan of groups/soloists and such.
I still listen to tons of K-Pop but I just don't want to associate myself with being a stan for groups and such anymore, does that make sense?
Over the past couple of months there's been so many controversies (no matter if they are in the right or wrong for their actions). I've been keeping up with due to TikTok putting them in my fyp. Just recently the Crush thing and that new GG CocoNButter or something, there's just so much negativity surrounding K-Pop and with each passing controversy that could be easily avoidable by being a decent human being my trust in K-Pop Idols and Groups just crumbles more and more especially in the groups that i have previously stanned - what if they are actually just completely putting on a front, is anything real, would they act after their own words - and such thoughts have crossed my mind.
I have a bitter taste in my mouth just thinking about all the hidden, maybe more evil-ish, personalities.
Concentrating on the music alone and just the music has made it so much easier for me to enjoy releases. I won't split artist from their music if they are bad since I don't want to support those type of controversial artists.
I don't know if I've gotten way too pessimistic when it comes to Idols but I can't seem to find a way around it anymore, has anyone felt the same before or feels like that now as well?
I know you should never see them as "real" to begin with, but you'd think some of the stuff they are saying they hold onto themselves instead of being completely fake you know?
I also feel like fan behavior just gets worse with each passing month - like some weeks ago when a fan told her whole life story to an ATEEZ member as if he was their therapist and the ATEEZ member obviously not wanting to continue the conversation. Just overly obnoxious in most cases and it's just gotten worse..
What do you guys think about K-POP as a whole these days? Have you gotten to like it more or less like me?
