I started reading Harry Potter when I was 7 and then when I was on the 5th book (had gotten like halfway) my parents banned me from reading Harry Potter till I was 11 (bc that’s how old Harry started hogwarts) bc they thought it was too dark

I actually tried reading it when I was young and got upset with how the Dursleys treated Harry and decided I would never read the books again, I read them when I was older though

Harry Potter was big in the second grade at my school like the second graders got into reading them


but I did read all of it until 5th at 7, but the 4th one’s end did upset me. Then the 3rd book became my fave

I once did get kicked out of the school library for going when I was too young tho bc I didn’t know only upper graders could go at lunch
