Some of you may be wondering how we picked who was petrified and who was not and now it is time we explained it to you.
When coming up with the petrification aspect, we decided we wanted it similar to the books/movies. In the books, they were petrified by the baselisks eyes. Therefore, we decided to use the eyes aspect and make it anyone who reacted or replied to a thread using one of the eyes emotes, which are and . Some people were petrified often, so often I almost want to give them an award
But yeah, that's the story behind it. Petrification is over now thankfully for some of you as we move into the third week. Who knows what challenges you'll face ahead?

I call bullshit. I responded to probably two threads using an eye emoji and was getting petrified multiple times every day. Unless emotes like :( :) :D count, or the emotes we use to react to the posts, then I think you're not explaining something.. anyway aha well played :)
