Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Thread (5 Viewers)

[Puddles]

This thread is for talking about the new Pokémon games, released today, Scarlet and Violet!

*NOTE* PLEASE USE SPOILER TAGS FOR STORY SPOILERS AND STARTER EVOLUTIONS

Did you pick up Pokémon Scarlet or Violet today? Which one did you choose and which starter did you go for?

I am team Violet and went with Quaxly (who I nicknamed “Marmalade”)

So far I am pretty amazed with this game! It’s got all the best stuff of Arceus and the mainline games combined. I’ve just reached the first town but I am already having a lot of fun (and I’ve caught half a dozen Pokémon).

Also this game has such cool visuals I love it lol

I won't be able to buy it until Friday too.

It runs okay - but it does feel like it could do with a patch to iron out some graphical bugs and improve performance.

I stuck an everstone on my Quaxly so they never evolve. It was the same in Sword and Shield with only the fire starter having a good final form (Cinderace). How are you getting along with the game? I’ve got 3 badges left, one from each of the 3 story lines. Been having a great time with the game, I love it.

Awesome. That’s the last one I have to do in that story line. I’m looking forward to going inside the crater too (I have managed to avoid most spoilers about it so far). You enjoying the game? 🙂
