The fact that for the 10 youngest gg idols I am fan of currently, 10 is my age and the rest are younger. If we counted garam, all 10 are younger

before this year all the female idols I was a fan of were years older

I got into a few 4th gen gg so

thank goodness for the male idols, only two younger and barely (and that’s also bc of this year, bc Dream Jisung was the youngest idol I was a fan of before). Unless we count dkz and to1 new maknaes but I count og lineup

also meeting irl someone born in the 2010s

also looking at when movies came out and songs came out and that so many years passed

At least for the kids born in the 2010s, not even teenagers yet, I’m good with kids, I would be like a cool aunt if I had nieces/nephews that little younger (little for nieces/nephews, big in general)

What is an example of the second one?

When I start forgetting my own age

^ This. Yesterday I seriously had to take a minute or two to determine that I’m 24, not 23.

Okay so this is Breakin My Heart by Mint Condition. Popular sound on Tiktok has it sped up and at a higher pitch

And here is the original I've been listening to since college, which came out in 1991:

Spoiler

It's the fact that it's back in a different version that makes me feel old.

I’m about to turn 23 yet thought I was 21 earlier this week

Good: Getting half price at the thrift stores on Seniors Day.
Bad: The concept of a "routine colonoscopy".
