i always always known that i like girls. i was the gayest kid in daycare. yet somehow i just never considered that i could be a lesbian because i was taught that i HAD to like boys and if i didn't i'd be disappointing my family. my brother outed to my nanna and she said "as long as u like boys too, it's okay" i didnt care at first but it seems i have internalized this.

Yeah most matches I get just don’t get anywhere? Like the convo just dies off before a date even happens. I live in a small town so I thought it would be the best way to potentially meet a partner and find friends, especially other people who are apart of the lgbtqia+. Unfortunately I’ve just not gotten anywhere with any of the apps I’ve used.

I’m concerned about transitioning at this point, but would really like to just feel like myself without dysphoria. This stuff wasn’t talked about when I was younger so I’m lost on even where to start or what to do. Im really happy there is so much support nowadays for people who are going through what I’ve hidden half my life.

You’re never too old to discover your true self Whether you transition medically or not, you are still who you are. What pronouns are you comfortable with using?

It took me a lot of time to realize that I’m a lesbian. It’s perfectly okay to question. I thought being in my 20s I should have this figured out. Thought I was bi because I had dated men but it never felt quite right. Take your time, you don’t have to ruah to put a label on your feelings
