What should be a great song ruined because the vocals are so unnaturally processed that it honestly and unexaggeratedly hurts my ears. I wasn't looking at the MV the first time I played it and I couldn't even tell who sang what in the chorus

They've ruined 3/4 singles in the last year like this

honestly, i don't think the autotune ruined the song. because if you're a fan of their discography you know that they rarely rely on autotune lately and that's evident from their live performances, so it's completely okay

Excessive autotune in the studio doesn't really mean much for live performances regardless? Likewise you can't stream live performances

It's the chorus that's the main problem. Moonlight Sunrise, Celebrate, and Just Be Yourself processed the choruses pretty heavily for some weird stylistic purposes.

I suppose someone in JYPE thinks it's better than the scream-singing they used to do in their older songs where the key is too high but maybe I'm crazy for thinking a better solution is to just cater the song to Twice's range and capabilities. Or give it to members who can actually hit the notes

The lack of processing and strained vocals made Alcohol Free great to listen to and one of the few things done right with Scientist and Talk That Talk. Twice can sing and most of them have nice voices, but their producers don't seem to get it

Guess I'll just wait for the comeback in Q3

Those songs are over in the trash can with this mornings dog poop bag. I can agree that Talk That Talk is a great song and I do love it.

No no but i get it..a lot of times it feels like their vocals arent very "clear" in the song..and it does take the quality down imo
