No cuz like in 3rd grade we were learning about the “colored” vs “whites” segregation, and (in this particular class there weren’t black kids, there were others in the school and grade and all that just not that particular class) so the teacher pointed to me and another kid and said we’d get lesser rights or wtv cuz we weren’t white and the other kid was like “that’s so unfair” and I was just quiet and thought maybe white people were better than me, I don’t like being othered like that

no, because i get they’re trying to educate, but it’s so damaging when they do things like that. especially since at first children don’t see race!
