I was looking at this earlier and talking with @ApinksBadPanda and @Selfmate about something related to this, but the sheer number of differences between the countries requirements is surprising to me. I’m a dual citizen since 14 years old, while my brother born 2 years after has been one since birth, but that’s only because both countries allow the dual citizenship, if we moved to Japan for some reason and got a Japanese citizenship I wouldn’t be a dual citizen while he could right now (not for long though). And ofc the numbers game of how many citizenships your parents need and what that means for your citizenship status, it’s kind of confusing
I kind of want to know the record for most citizenships held now too.
