Mei Qi has my fave music of any female soloist that originally debuted in a kpop group and not as a soloist honestly (Chinese, korean, or otherwise)

I honestly didn't know she was a soloist until I got the first Mei Qi card, so listening to them all now! I listened to them in the order posted and then re-ordered them to my preferences.

1. Alien
   1. The muted vocals works more for me here, since it doesn't feel like it's a less interesting part compared to the instrumentals. They complement each other well.
2. Suffering
   1. Again, not a ton happening here, but I get a kick out of the "suffering" line.
3. Flyer
   1. She has a sweet vocal tone and it's nice to hear it on a track clearly.
4. Mute
   1. The instrumental is interesting, but I don't like the sound effects on her voice on the chorus.
5. Helios
   1. IDK, I feel like there's not a lot going on here. It seems like a song that's meant to be watched more than listened to.

Thank you! I gave it a listen and I agree it's better. I know some artists have songs that are really intended to be performed more than heard, so I assumed this was like that, but it seems it was just that particular performance of it.

I think I'd actually bump it up to just under Alien based on this version. It's got a better balance of her vocals against the instrumental than some of the other songs.
