I don't understand the difference between an album and a digipack

I thought digipack is like just buying the cd virtually or something, but apparently they are physical albums too??

Digipack = no photobook, you get the inclusions like pc, folded poster, lyric book, and cd. With my Born Pink digipack I also got a signed card w/ Jennie's signature and I think some groups were doing like a QR code to the photobook online or sth? Idk someone else can confirm or deny that

Yeah? With my Ay-Yo digipack I got a lyric book too, the small folded paper. Digipacks are less expensive, at least for Ay-Yo the digipack was $11 and the regular was like $17.

Yeah and if it's a SM digipack you're getting screwed over they said "idc if there are 9 members, you're only getting 1 pc"

I think with some groups they only get 1 pc per album though. Pretty sure with NCT 127 and WayV I got one (admittedly WayV don’t have 9 members but still). Other groups with fewer members do sometimes get more though which is confusing

I thought a digipack just came with less inclusions per se
obviously different groups and companies have different inclusions but some of the common non-inclusions are
no photocard or photobook or poster (or less of them)

Not gonna lie...they are kinda fun to collect. Especially if you have a specific member you like, but Yeah, basically an album without a HUUGE photobook.

I know I got a few NCT ones and Craavity...and Straykids....LOLOL Hdcfvjkgmbf,bg vm Anyway, they are sometimes fun. SOmetimesMultiple Cards, sometimes one. *shrug*

i like it some are super cheap ssera was like 6 bucks i think lets me buy albums i would not have.

Also they are MUCH lighter so shipping is considerably less too.

The jewel case I got had a small photo book (ofc, it wouldn’t fit otherwise), a lyrics thingy, and I believe 2 photocards (one normal one ar). I think that’s everything.
