How big is the difference between rural areas around New York and in the middle of USA? I've heard that it's like night and day the more you get in mid west etc
Well I’d considered New York as a state to be urban/suburban really so it’ll be more cities and towns and the like but in the middle of the us it’s definitely flat
Juussst flat
And plain (hence the Great Plains haha)
So it’s more farming fields and small towns but in and around the cities of the Great Plains, they have urban areas like the megacities of New York & LA
Hope this helps lol

Alrighty.

House of Representatives is the lower level of Congress. There are 435 members and it's based on population of each state. This part of congress is aimed to be closer to individual representation.

Senate is the upper level of Congress. Has 2 people elected from each state to represent the people.

Both parts have to work together to legislate, tho the Senate overall has more power than the house

I don't know what you mean about occupy as president. What do you need to win the presidency? Technically you just need to be a US citizen and 35 years old.
Hmm okay part of my question was answered so thank you for that!

What I mean by president is that when Trump was elected I heard that Republicans had both the House and the Senate or something like that. What I'm curious of is does Trump control the Senate or something like that? Or is the election of the president completely irrelevant with who controls the Senate or the House?

Oooh it's completely separate on the surface. You can dive deeper into believing there's a lot of under the table dealings but, superficially, it's completely separate from eachother

Scientifically speaking, my state of Kansas is flatter than a pancake. Seriously. So, there's that :nosejoo:

Also how come you don't mind driving 30 minutes to get groceries.
I don't think this is actually a thing except for the people that live wayyyy out in the country

Does it bother you that you don't know how much your total bill will be before you reach the register?
Not really. I use a calculator to keep track of where I'm at. Take the total price, add about 18% and you're close

Maybe it was because of that Dorothy line in The Wizards of Oz lol

Kansas City is decent and Johnson County is a good place to live but please, please don't visit here. There's nothing that's worth it lol
