For anyone who does not know what Shen Yun is, it is a traditional Chinese dance performance showcasing China before communism. I unfortunately was not allowed to take photos during the performance. It was truly moving though. The orchestra was so talented. They used a combination or western instruments and traditional Chinese instruments. The outfits were magnificent and vibrant. I lowkey wanted a few of them. Here’s an image from google as an example:

I've been to a show pre-COVID! When my mom got me tickets, I wasn't sure about it, but it was, as you said, really beautiful and moving. I had a great time. Sounds like you did too.
