It took me 6 months to learn Apink from then to now

No, but I couldn't tell them apart only Eunji but it took me a short time as their voices help identify them

When i first watched their debut MV 'ELEVEN' on debut day, i was struck by a member on first watch but i couldnt identify her by name/face as it was too quick on first watch; i dont rmbr exactly the sequence of exactly wat i did next except i know i tried to find out by going on tumblr n finding gifs of ELEVEN MV to isolate the clips of members.

For some reason i misidentified Liz then quickly realised Liz was blond in ELEVEN MV n was not who i was struck by. Eventually after a few gifs/tumblr hopping-LEESEO was identified as my bias from my first watch of ELEVEN MV.

lTill now i hv no difficulty recognising all IVE members(i knew Wonyoung from her guesting on Running Man previously-tho i dint pay much attention to her pre-debut in IVE, just watched n logged it into my memory but tats it: bits n pieces of tat episode from looong ago) I went bk much later n watched iz*one first episode guesting on Knowing bros(watched sometime in mid/late 2022/early 2023?), now theres confusion for me-jo yuris, n hyewon/eunbi n nako/hitomi are difficulty rating impossible<yuri, yujin, yena> hitomi arent impossible rn but nako, hyewon/eunbi are still tuf-i might nvr tell apart hyewon/nako unless i do srs homework on izone, LOL.

yeah because of the blonde hair and that little dimple she has, Liz is rather easy to tell apart (well at least in ELEVEN era). You have an interesting way of identifying the members

Also wild that Wony was stuck in your memory from a episode of running man and nothing else

I'm not very familiar witz IZ*one, but I feel confident I could always tell Nako apart

I'm just terrible with names and faces. It's a common problem with ADD folks. We're more likely to remember someone when a specific event or action highlights them to us. The first I learned in Apink was Bomi because, to be honest, She was less "pretty" than the rest in the beginning. She also does the thumbs up in bubibu song and I had a crush on a girl who was always giving people the thumbs up at the college. Bomi is stunning now. Chorong has the cuteness. Eunji has the powerful vocals, can't remember the girl who's gone... I confused Hayoung and Namjoo for basically ever. Naeun has cute nostrils (I know, that's super weird, I don't care). I finally started to recognize Namjoo because I LOVE her part in Mr. Chu but she really stood out in the Dumhdurum era in a way I could remember her really well. If Apink lost Hayoung tomorrow I wouldn't lose any sleep. Her solo venture was terrible.
I have co-workers I see everyday at work and couldn't name to save my job or life...

But when I got into Twice, I always confuse Momo, Mina, and Sana.

Aespa I also confuse Gisele and Winter.

There's also the problem where because Idols are in a constant state of visual flux, hair color/length/design. Fashion changes a lot with them. These things make it harder for me to remember who's who. If you change your hair color I might have zero clue who you are because I latch on to something like that but it only works for that comeback because the next it will probably be different.

I don’t usually have one way confusions as much either. It’s usually 2 ways, or misidentifying everybody part of the time and one person almost all the time. Stuff like that

Interesting in wat way? I did the tumblr gif search cause i dint even know any members names on debut day (at approx.1700kst-which is when the mv released). I was too struck at first n dint want to search kprofiles to potentially contaminate my first impression of the members/it dint hv clips/pics from ELEVEN MV so tumblr/gifs was my fastest/most direct way to identify the member i was struck by.

I watched a lot of Running Man n its a recurrent happening-i see a guest n later for other reasons, i stan/bias/like 'em (not from their appearance, other later reasons)-this happened with yooa/everglow sihyeon,onda,yiren n maybe others-twice(dont stan), red velvet.cant rmbr if i like somi b4 or after i watched her guesting on running man.

I only watched it after 2018, but iv watched probably 100-200eps sinc e; i probably rmbr most guests unless they rlly uninteresting to me(tho appearing on running man i usually rmbr sthg abt a guest-i know i rmbr kim donghyun yrs before i ever watched amazing saturday-actually probs 2 yrs only.but i dint immediately realise/rmbr him from running man or it took me a minute: maybe first time i realised was when amazing saturday mentioned donghyun was mma fighter n then i rmbrd he was on early ep on running man)

Well i missed most/all of izone active yrs(i dont stan, i like yena, eunbi casually) so i hvnt watched nako/hyewon/eunbi in much-when they were on weekly idol i keep getting confused <unless their name is mentioned/i rmbr who wears wat/height/placement on seating arrangement-knowing bros 1st appearance helped/but 12 members taxed my brain cells; i could only rmbr/tell apart yena/wonyoung/yujin/sakura/ i think tats all(it takes effort just to recall names: eunbi,hyewon,jo yuri,nako,hitomi,chaewon,minju n i cant rmbr who else-n minju took exercising my brain cells to the limit)LOL

what do you mean by "contaminate my first impression"? Also how did you manage to avoid all the pre-debut hype for IVE? I thought it was very big, given that it was Wonyoungs re-debut.

oh wow... you really like Running man. So you watch it every week, regardless of who is the guest well its good the guests usually leave such a strong impression on you!
