I don’t care if you can turn right on a red light, if the walk signal is on and people are crossing, who cares if you can turn WAIT FOR PEDESTRIANS TO CROSS INSTEAD OF TURNING ANYWAYS WHILE SEEING THEM AND FORCING THEM TO MOVE FOR YOU IF THEY CHOOSE LIFE

what I do tho is I just look at them, cuz if you can run someone over while looking straight at them you’re evil. Prob very very stupid of me tho

Not being almost run over every time you cross the street when the walk signal is on to get to class should be a basic right

If pedestrians light are on I don’t think you can turn on red because they have the right of way no? Any pedestrian in a crosswalk has the right of way even when you’re turning right I thought. As for people actually caring that’s another story

Almost every day when I cross the street with the walk signal on, cars still turn right with the red signal and we gotta try not to get hit and run for them when it’s our right of way

Oh yeah, people generally don’t care about the pedestrians right of way. It only shows on those who are turning right in red though because no one else can even pretend that they thought they had right of way because of their red light. Lowkey the police kinda needs to start doing something about it because it’s not enforced ever it feels like.

The getting those people to court seems like a pretty big barrier tbh. But I’m sure it varies to some level throughout the country.

Yes I have had people continue driving when it was already red before they reached the crosswalk

Yeah, but everyday cars still expect us to run so we can live

even if a car’s driver would get taken to court if I get hit by a car I’d rather not be hit in the first place
