How often do you change your cell phone? (1 Viewer)

Usually I change when the cellphone is no longer working so every 3-5 years.

I'm clumsy so occasionally I drop it

My phone before this one came out when I was 11, it completely stopped working when I was 19, died and was not able to charge, and that too in an airport, before it was already showing signs of not working, slow charging, etc. but until it completely was lost (data wasn't even recoverable, we tried) I didn't change it despite my parents complaints

I didn't get it when I was 11, I got it when I was 15, because it was a replacement from the manufacturer due to a defect in that model of phone

The original of that model I got when I was 13, which was a hand me down, and I didn't want it, it was an iPhone, and not the newest one, but I didn't want it because my phone before that, not a smartphone, one of those slide the keyboard out phones, worked perfectly fine so I saw no point

I try to take care of my phone by being careful not to drop it as much and have it last as long as possible.

My current phone I've only had for about a year. I'm going to keep it until there is no more operating system or security updates, which might be in the next few years I'm guessing.

I'm not one of those early adopters or people who change phones frequently, wanting the newest versions.

same here, i have a work phone that has a refresh cycle of 2 years. my workplace gives me Apple, but i prefer android and use the android for my personal phone.
