Long list of what was bleh about it. I left to go there at 7:45 ish, I got back home at about 11:10. At least 4/5 of the time was me trying to give a urine sample to prove that I, an asexual virgin female who only dates females and who's girlfriend lives far away, was not pregnant. Which was hard because I can only sip water and even then throw most of it up, and generally while sick I've only been using the bathroom once every 24 hours or so so short demand is kinda hard. They diagnosed me with nausea and vomiting. That's all. They also seemed frustrated with me about the urine sample thing which annoyed me. So yeah I had a great morning so far.

You should go to a gastroenterologist. The urine sample is understandable on their part, it is normal procedure regardless of who you are if you’re female. Ppl can just as easily lie about that and actually be pregnant

I know it’s normal but it doesn’t make me feel thrilled that I’m spending hours trying to pee so they can tell me something I know already (even if they don’t). I also just generally dislike urine samples in general
The gastroenterologist might be a good idea but isn’t that appealing. I’ve spend enough time visiting them to last a lifetime. Maybe I will though if I don’t improve.

I had to go to one when I would have daily panic attacks and throw up every morning, bc I never thought the cause was anxiety and the doctor told me I wasn’t shy, and I know what I want, when I was throwing up due to extreme somatic social anxiety

but if it’s a digestive system issue they might help if you’re not sick in any other way

For me it was when I had my undiagnosed milk allergy. Took them 2 years to figure it out though

That’s odd, I can’t say I’ve ever experienced them insisting on a urine sample after telling them there’s no chance, maybe they have and I just don’t remember…
