So it looks like they pushed the EXO cb back out of the second quarter - are they rerecording?
One of the new groups would be NCT Tokyo, methinks, which makes sense since people originally predicted they'd introduce our remaining members in the NCT all-unit, then debut them in Tokyo after.
I'd assume NCT 127 in the 4th quarter - and I guess Baek too, which would certainly be a strong way to close out the year. They've tended to park 127 in late 3rd quarter/early 4th and I guess it must work for them because they keep doing it. WayV would also be jammed into that quarter, which sucks for them again as it's hard to hold public focus if other big releases are landing. As always I hate that SM leaves months open, then jams so much into the 4th quarter. I get that it's to look good on end of year stockholder reports but it's annoying as a fan.
Ten also slipped off the list. Kinda crappy to put his mini in the 4th quarter with a WayV cb instead of spacing it out.
I wonder what impact the stricter enlistment policies has on SM's planning. Artists they thought they had more time will not, so I wonder if that requires some rejiggering in release dates. (There may be more Neos we don't know, like when we found out about Baek, but Taeyong will definitely be a public service worker with his issues - and that impacts 127 and his solo work.)
