It's usually preferred to just quote your post if you have to add something onto it later the same with if you wanted to delay picking your card of choice until later

Yeah like abe said, in that case it's best to quote the original with the alteration rather than edit the post. Some cards team members would be able to check the edited post history to see if that was the case or if it was just someone adding a different card without that reason, but not all, so for clarity's sake its best to leave the original unedited.
