yeah the beats are totally different true but everything else as in
jennie rap -> lisa rap -> ~vocal breakdowns~ (song slows -> beat drop -> another rap segment -> ~vocal breakdown~ -> another breakdown -> build up to ending -> big finish -> bam
Maybe because literally all their comeback songs are produced by Teddy, but it’s starting to be the same pattern which definitely works towards their success, but it’s getting a tad bit underwhelming now
To me KTL is DDDD 4.0 with trumpets

Those were all bops and were totally different styles

Isn't that most kpop songs tho? If you think about it most groups have a specific structure to their title songs.

Yes, but with Blackpink it’s the same structure and same style songs which can get a little boring
Most groups with the same structure also change up their style with it too

I don't think they're the same style tho, I can agree with the structure but I don't think dx4 and ktl sound remotely similar

Well the trumpets really make a difference haha (kidding but i know they don’t sound the same but the style and structure are very similar hence why people think it’s just DDDD 4.0 with the added bonus of trumpets)
