NCT Universe
May 23, 2023

A (mostly) daily round-up of everything happening in the NCT Universe.
What's included: tour news, appearances, cfs, performances, news.
What's not included: IG updates unless there's something highly pertinent, merch drops unless something highly pertinent like a new CF.

Cross-Unit (including Rookies):

In the you've got to be fucking kidding me corner, despite appearing in a show called Welcome to the NCT Universe, meeting and appearing and bonding with all the units...Sungchan, Shotaro, Seunghan and Eunseok will NOT be part of the NCT Universe. In fact, Sungchan and Shotaro are officially out of the group. They're being moved to the new SM bg.
SM Tokyo will have a reality show to cast. (And we blamed LSM for the reality show concept.) It's very strange that they've spent the last year shilling Shotaro and Sungchan across all of Japan only to not debut them there. Shotaro had a whole ass show and magazine column with Yuta!
(Also this couldn't have waited until after TY's solo?)
Shohei will not be in either group due to health concerns (his back, a long-time problem, I'd assume)
You can find this official bullshittery in @ManduBun's threads here and here and here
shotaro posted an iG update that Yuta also commented on
