They need to stop... Your dog cannot communicate their like or dislike. Most owners don't pick up on those que's. Clothes ok if they serve a purpose like your dog gets cold, needs protection from the sun, etc. Because it's "cute" is not an acceptable answer.

"It's cute" can be acceptable if your pup doesn't detest putting clothes on.
Half my Bub's closet literally had no purpose other than the fact that he was my adorable chunky monkey floof bear who didn't oppose putting on outfits. And I mean it when I bought him everything outside of just winter and rain coats. The moment he willingly would grab a pair of pjs, I ordered 10 more, he had a new halloween costume every year. Did he need a Stitch house robe? No. But did I get it because he was cute as hell in it. Yes.

In my opinion its fine if they don’t detest it. The issue is when people do it despite their dogs (or other pets) protesting it. Bub’s costumes were always very cute. And like Halloween costumes, they do serve a purpose so thats fine too.

Why?????? Aren't animals color blind??????? So they won't care.
And that's a good idea-- shrink the life expectancy of their fur/hair.

Now that I'm thinking about it, the purpose of dyeing pet fur or hair is for the owners because they're the ones who get tired of looking at their pets' normal colors. Isn't it??

would i do it on my dog no if someone else did it on their dog I wouldn't care but only if its safe dye if it isn't then the owner and I are going to have a problem
