My grandmother won’t drop the idea of me gardening (especially growing flowers) as a hobby. She seems to think I’ve never even so much as looked at a plant from the way she acts. Gardening is okay imo, but not that deeply engaging to me, it’s okay but idk, not something I’d put a ton of effort into. But every call she brings up gardening Its tedious

She’s complaining because my dads the one doing most of the gardening stuff. She wants me to specifically have a random plant I water or something

Well tbh I’d rather listen to her complaining more that going to water a singular plant every day Also we generally pick them when ready and bring them inside more so than pick them when needed, it becomes a lot of tomatoes if we don’t pick them when ready, since we realistically don’t cook using as many tomatoes as are ready to be eaten all the time. We have quite a few plants.

Oh I mean that we bring them in and put them in a drawer in our cabinet, basically just whenever my dad goes out to water he brings in whatever is ready. Then we chuck them in the cabinet and hope someone comes up with a new interesting idea for what to make with it
