You think you're safe going to work and suddenly there's a shooting in the parking lot resulting in a girl being hospitalized.
Then, police are blocking the entrance of your work because they want to prevent the shooter from entering.
The shooter? A 14 year-old child.
The victim? A 15 year-old child.

I'm so tired of this being my daily life and the daily life of so many Americans across the country. No matter where you go, you have to be on constant lookout around you because someone might try and pull something. I'm used to the violence and hypervigilance by now but it feels like every day the threat and risk grows and grows.

If you're reading this, then just stay safe. I'm sorry the world is like this - it shouldn't be.

i always feel sorry for my american neighbors... there was a few shootings in the big city of my province and i was terrified of going even though it was rare, i can't imagine living with that fear on the daily. it's truly horrible. i hope it gets better for everyone living in the usa soon
