Hide the construction worker's toolbox and find it 'accidentially' again. Then tell the construction worker that you saw the bartender with the toolbox before. You just need to warn the bartender now that the construction worker is after him. The bartender will need a boat to escape, and the dock attendant will earn some money because of you. There you go: three thankful men on one single evening.
