Zodiacs: you're born on this day which means anyone born in a specific time range around you are exactly like you, then when it becomes the day of the next sign the personalities of everyone born suddenly shift to this completely different set of traits and remains that for about another month and so on. Because that makes sense.
MBTI: *You take the test and say strongly agree to being antisocial.* Result: "Hmmm, I think there is a you might be antisocial because I'm perceptive like that. Now pay me money to see other random nonsense, like which famous person has the same type as you! Even though they haven't taken the test and we don't personally know them so we just have to guess based on the obvious traits they exhibit even though those may be different than their actual personality."
So yeah I do agree MBTI makes way more sense but the bar is low and the MBTI results are rather predictable and often a money grab. Better than being completely random and inaccurate though ig.

I don't have any preference. It's all pseudoscience as some others have pointed out. However, I don't think there is any science on psychology either. According to the work of a metascientist that I came across some years ago, psychology is at the very bottom of his "ranking" of how good/bad those sciences are. The experiments needed to know anything on humans cannot be done since they're unethical. So no real science, no real knowledge.
