I just adopted a kitty! Like a stray kitty!
As some users on here might know, I have strict parents, like REALLY strict ones that would surely object to it.
I was walking by a corner on a street by my school & found it, a little runt, deprived of food & resources, worn out & tired, shivering & sneezing every now & then.
My consicence couldn't take it. I just picked it up & brought it home. Now it lies, in a better condition than before, in a makeshift kennel in the corner of my bedroom.
I've always wanted to have a pet & my parents have always objected to it.

They've agreed (after I tried to convince them a thousand times with different baits) & now I need to take care of the kitty.

Now, could someone tell me how to take care of a malnourished kitten with a severe cold?

OMG ok so for sicknesses I'd def reccommend to go to a vet. what breed is it? for food, is it actually a kitten? if so, it may need food closer to a puree than to what you'd think of as cat food. do you have any heaters? you should tactically set up bedding somewhere warm. also, plan out where your literbox(s) will be, and where the kitten will sleep, also if you want it to be an outside cat or inside cat

You might generally need to go to the vet to get it checked out as it's better safe than sorry,

Since it's also malnourished, it might not be used to eating harder foods, so I'd get softer foods for it that it can easily eat, or mix in some harder foods into the softer foods.

Don't expect it too eat too much either, it'll have to slowly get used to eating healthy amounts, so feeding it more regularly smaller proportions will be better than feeding it larger proportions.

You might also need to look into foods for it that have lots of vitamins and etc, or research DIY foods that you can make for cats that will provide it with what they need.

ok i can't leave you off like that. if it's a stray kitten there's a possibility it doesn't know to do it's buissness in a litterbox, so you will either have to follow the video instruction or if it's old enough train it to go in a litterbox, also dont forget to give it a water dish

The vet should definitely be one of your first stops. You'll never know if the kitten's sickness could end up life threatening.

Edit: also! the vet would be one of the best places to ask for tips on how to take care of the cute little kitten ♥

I'm feeding it a fish stock I prepared. Seems to enjoy it but is really reluctant to eat more solid foods, even lumps. Yup, my room is South facing & is warmer than other parts of the house. It's always snuggled up in the blankets anyway.
Also, voila! It actually goes to the toilet & does the job. Don't ask me why.
And I'll send you some images after I make a Discord in the very near future.

It doesn't eat harder foods, just the liquid ones.
I brought it in three days ago & it's getting better.
Thanks for the advice.

Also, @igloo & @Taeyeon, I took it to a vet yesterday. It suffers from Feline Herpes. :/
The vet gave it a vaccine yesterday & will continue to give it the vaccine for four more days.

I suspected so, I hope it starts to open up to them slowly, but it’s still a kitten,

I hope the kitten gets better though, it was lucky that you took it in otherwise I can’t imagine what would’ve happened
