I'd be surprised if Taeyeon left SM honestly as it likely means the end of SNSD and she hasn't exactly stayed under SM after other members of the group left to just walk away without the group getting to go out on their own terms I feel.

Taeyeon has vented in ways similar to this multiple times I feel and it has yet to lead anywhere so I think SM believes ultimately she'll stay so they never put effort into actually treating her better and it goes through this cycle which will only be broken if she at least can convince them she has 1 foot out the door.

The real issue is there is F all for soloist agencies in Korea, none of them are any good. Where would she go?
OFC any agency would want her but..
She does not write her songs so she would need a super strong ANR team and a very well funded agency to buy the songs.
Iu writes all her stuff at loen so that is out.
Teddy is busy writing fluff songs for the bp soloist. ( which ofc i have like zero respect for, bp solo are like the kardishans singing all popularity driven)

Sunny may stay at sm but she has stopped doing almost anything so its not like they will make much money from her.

I agree with all of the above.

Taeyeon's vocal talents are undeniable, but a big part of her success is also SM's A&R team and network of composers.

2. the company seems to f up all the time at the simple stuff.
Scheduling a venue, remembering an artist, getting albums out on time, songs or mv same and on and on.

She's ultimately posted stuff before and unlike Tiffany, Seohyun and Sooyoung she has decided to stay so from SMs perspective would you believe it's not just all talk? It's not like Taeyeons success has ever been in flux for them to not treat her right in any twisted justification so SM just clearly doesn't respect her and make sure they run on their time not hers.

Things won't get better for Taeyeon if she stays but between her solo career and SNSD she stands to lose basically her whole career if she leaves SM and will just be relying on her fans following her which of course she will lose some of if she does however this cycle with SM won't break any other way.

probably thinks it's fine to continue the same behaviour because they believe she would never leave sm, I hope she proves them wrong because they don't respect her and will most likely never treat her right

K-pop idols that have left or want to leave their agency should all get together and run their own agency at this point. They'd have fair contracts, all the support they need and would actually know how to correctly manage each other.
