ChatGPT has been giving strange advice/information today (1 Viewer)

So far I have 2 things.

For one I was asking about how great of a substitution regular bread crumbs would be vs panko bread crumbs and for part of the answer chatGPT suggested crushing/breaking down bread crumbs if you want to go from a finer texture to a coarser one

For the other I was trying to prove my mom wrong about there being no exceptions for the soft sign (ь) in Russian. Lots to unpack here. In the first point not only is Sunday not a compound word with a prefix, but the soft sign is after the н, not с, and it does soften the н sound. For the second part the word little bridge straight up doesn't have the soft sign or end in any of the 3 consonant clusters that it's about. And finally, in the last point, while route is a German loan word indeed, it contains no soft sign again, making the point obviously inaccurate.

ChatGPT could be horribly wrong. Did you know it did know PassCode, but didn't know Nao Minami? According to it, PassCode is composed of Yuna Imada, Hinako Ogami, Kaede Takashima, and Yuri Kurohara. When I asked for Nao, it said it doesn't know any Nao Minami; but she should have joined after 2021. Well, that's WRONG!
