but as far as i am aware "come see" is just a cajun phrase but i was wondering if maybe there are other people who say it over "come here" ?? or have you at least heard 'see' over 'here' at any chance??

ive been so curious when i found out 'come see' is purely a cajun thing like that blew my mind no way is that not a world wide common phrase. 😭😭😭😭

Depends on the context. I don't think "come here" and "come see" are the same at all.

"come here" means I want the person to be over where I am (for whatever reason)

"come see" means I want to show that person something over where I am at.

I would only use come see if I wanted the person to see something, I'd use come here if I wanted the person to come to where I was for any reason
