I have not seen anyone talk about it in forever it feels like, it seemed so hyped when it started, what happend?

its still going on, and the mission songs have been fun some of em . but its a worse popularity contest than any other survival show i have watched.

the live voting is just blatant in favor of the certain ppl.

and even with mnet tying to make it interesting .. its only kinda.

plus the time until the bonuses gets applied is tooo bloody long and the whole voting thing feels like a huge black box they will manipulate.

its not really mnet its the girls with built in fan bases like queendom 2 winner Yeroeum, yeeun ect .
The fans will not vote for the other girls.
most voting is up down which way way over empowers voting blocks.
This was first seen in PD 48 when none of the top dance girls were with in 100 votes of the top vocal girls. The infighting between fanbases was crazy.
Chaeyeon for example finished 3 rd in her group ( sorry not sorry was stacked easily 3 of the top 5 dancers maybe all 3 of the top 3)

tbh those ratings all look rather low, I would have thought a popular show too have much higher ratings (like at least double digits!)

But the difference from PD48 to the others is still huge!

They start at 10 pm local and go till midnight+. so they start same time as the news and mnet is a second tier network. KBS, MBC, and SBS are the big networks.

Because Wonyoung was so young they had to pull the finale of pd 48 much earlier and get special permission. it actually started in prime time.

Yep because there are 21 spots for the semifinals, which will air on August 8th (August 1st will be a Special episode).

The 21 semifinalists will be performing one of the 3 songs (Puzzlin, I DGA, and I Do).
