What still upsets me is SM NEVER gave her chances to release solo albums, even though she was known by the fans and the group as part of the vocalist line.

Doesn't sound like they left on bad terms although I'm sure time will tell on that front but right now sounds like she has a personal goal in mind that SM might not give her the support she needs to achieve it which given her list of activity after SNSD became less active isn't hard to see those concerns.

That's what i was thinking too, isn't she a vocalist in the group? Why did she not have a solo when literally everyone in the group reamining with SM did ???

Hope she can find what she is looking for. She is really fun on reality shows tbh, just like key, i would love to see her more.

For those asking about Sunny solo under SM, she mentioned just a few yrs ago in a tv show or interview tat she sang in a different voice from her natural one under directions from SM/music producers which made her hesitant/doubt herself about going solo. I had speculated on a timeline of every year hvg a SNSD solo debut starting from taeyeon to yoona, n it was saddening when no Sunny solo appeared after tat. It only made sense when i read abt the interview/tv show on the reason why.

Hope she makes plans which make her happy, or at least with no regrets or least doubt for her.

Really? This now makes me wonder if soloists like IU sings in higher registers than normal. Does anyone know?

I'm asking because if Sunny decides to continue with a new label, would there be a possibility she'd be asked to attempt it again?
