I think it's a bad decision on her/her company's part tbh her popularity has fell a lot since her IOI days and leaving JYP really hurt her image. I think reuniting with IOI could really help reignite her core fan base again!

I actually agree. Her popularity has gone down quite a bit since their disbandment. I think her company should let her do it. I hope she doesn’t feel left out by this....

I'm utterly devasted my IOI bias, Somi will not be able to participate, if they do have a reunion. Sigh. However, I'm glad I'll get to see Sejeong, Pinky and Chungha on the same stage again

It might not seem like it to us but Somi is still widely popular in Korea, purely because of her CFs and also for being the face of Fanta. She's all over buses and billboards in Seoul so I definitely don't think her fanbase has decline nor has her public popularity plummeted.
