Granted all these acts have great sales it is nice to see 2 female acts.

i would have expected Twice but i guess timing ate them up.

Twice unfortunately "primed" during one of the worst period for GG album sales. They ultra dominated the market but BG had on average 3x more sales during that time so it was super hard to rack up a lot of weeks. EXO, BTS, Seventeen, GOT7 combined for 111 weeks with a large part of that being that 2015-2020 period...

big bg still have almost 3x on the girls.
girls are hitting 2 mill and boys 6.
This type of chart is all timing. Can they secure a week.
Now a monthly chart is more honest. but the rolling 30 day number is i think the best for this type of thing.

yeah but thankfully with the % of preorders being much higher and albums being bought in very huge bulk the albums hopefully don't stay that many weeks at the top (except for the uber monsters like SVT or SKZ)
