Usually the original version.

I typically feel like the original was made for the language it starts out with so when they change it to another language at times it sounds disjointed and off.

Honestly I think the original is suited rather than itself in another language like sometimes to me it doesn't seem the same tho it's the same song but in another language.

I usually love the modern cover versions a bit more. BUT, that doesn't mean I don't love the originals either.

For example ~ Girls' Generation's song titled 'Girls' Generation' was an original made by Lee Seung Chul back in '89.

However, as far as Korean to Japanese or Korean to English, I prefer the original versions more..... because I'm biased.
