i have less than 10(thats just cuz i am old and dress shoes/boots last forever) and only 4 i really wear in a given month.

Never happen to me but i notice it with my sisters and my friends all this things

Like when i'm with my parents doing shopping and buy a sweat and my mom tell me it's good and then when we come back at the house she tell me " i prefered the last one"

Or when she ask me to choose between two meal that she should cook for the nigh and when i answer them she just tell me that she's lazy and will do the other one or that she don't have this ingredient to make this meal so she will make the other one etc...

I'm like why do you ask me if you already make your choice, is it just to make me feel like the house is a democracy when it' s in fact a dictature

You definitely have a point and I can see where you're coming from..

The first thing is, I think, because we're just more emotional beings and see that as someone knowing us well, caring, and paying attention to what we say and feel.. even though it's kinda irrational.. men are simpler in that sense hehe

This is also kinda true for some girls... complaining about guys being jerks, but choosing those guys over the nice ones. Even though to be fair, I think there's more guys who behave in crappy ways than real mean who treat you well and sometimes the nice ones are hard to find. (like I am seriously and honestly surrounded by like 90% douches, no joke). I think most of us want something in between, the right mixture, which is of course hard for men to be...

As for the gossiping, I can honestly say the guys around me are just as bad as girls, but talking about girls... I think there's a lot of pressure to look good, to behave a certain way, to be so many things.. and it changes even us, I honestly find it sad how girls don't look out for each other in such a harsh word but that goes for people in general as well

Disagree about the douv'che bags things
It's not just some girls it's the majority you can see it when you watch a tv show the main character is always between a very nice guy and the other one who use her at the debut and then all thr girls are behind the bad boy when the nice boy should just be a good friend
And no there's really much more nice guys than douche bag but for example in a high school even if there's ton of nice guy girls always want to date the same guy because he is the hottest even if everybody know he is the biggest douche

I think for the first one it's just a difference of personality since i have many girl friends who love sexual joke
And most of my guy friend love to make sexual joke but just between friends it's might be a difference in culture and personalities

And for the second one i can't understand too boys who are like "omg i hate gay people" but at the same time they know how much measure the dick of their friend and call their male best friend baby to joke or try to punch them in the nuts to joke
They are more openly gay than gay people themself xDDDDD

i think the way guys care is shown very plainly
like oh i want you to be happy so what do you want in this situation
that's how we show we care
having to maneuver around your desires without you saying them is tough
and you don't want to get it wrong
guys tend to try not to step on your toes when they care so they won't assume what you want

and with the jerk thing
i think it's a bit too psychologically complex to unpack here but a platitude would be that hard to get things are more desirable for a lot of people
even if they aren't better

Ummm, there's nothing i don't really get about the opposite sex, i'm actually more understanding of the opposite sex than my own sex... i find my own sex somewhat... tiring....
