as if you only been training months it not like you could of learnt much in that time unless you been training yourself and if your are a kid and trained for years it not same as a 17 plus year old who has trained with a striker trainer etc

I don't think it matters, though. You should be ranked by your performance. Training longer doesn't necessarily mean you'll be better or worse if you train less. Some people are just more talented than the rest. I also don't think being under a great company gives any privileges, you can still do well without proper training facilities and training in a basement (such as in Daniel's case who was A ranked) if you practise hard enough in such environment.

Anyways, let's look at some of yesterday's performers, their training length and their age (I'll put international), bolded the examples!

I remember him from the introduction video and the snack one. I honestly don't remember seeing him in the other stuff so he could have left the show.

Tbh the only reason I picked him is he reminds me of NCT's Jungwoo lmao

After a long hiatus I’m back and I did watch the first episode of PDX 101 last friday. I’m ready to discuss with you guys!

First of all: I’m new to the hole PD101 world, but I knew overall how the procedere of this show is. Neverless I was excited for the first episode. I’m all little bit overwhelmed at how many face and names I need to learn lol but I did saw some interesting boys.

First: Midam is looking much better and healthier than in YGTB and I was happy that he was holding the first seat for a long time. Probably I’m little biased lol

The trainers: Man, that is some good line up. And the vocal trainer Seokhoon is really good looking (he also reminds me of someone, hm…)

Even tho the the episode was so long it didn’t really felt like that. I think now I need to watch all the videos about the trainees which were released beforehand. Otherwise I don’t get to know all of them (but…I’m also really lazy, so…).

The JYP guy is probably really good and we will see that the next episode. I hope Mahiro and Jyunhao from YG are also doing a good job.

They probably feel threatened or jealous, I assume the latter though. This is most likely done by someone who knew them in the school.

There was this Maroo trainee in the second season named Han Jongyeon, who was A ranked, and he was accused of sexual assault and also of being a bully and iljin. There was a lot of evidence towards him mainly because the posts weren't made anonymously but instead his former classmates called him out under their real names. So he left the show before it aired and the only part you see him in is where the trainees go against each other in dance battles. He debuted last year in a group named LUCENTE under the stage name Parkha. It's such a pity because the guy is actually very talented but he only got to debut because everyone forgot about him the moment he left. This is the case where there is somewhat evidence to it.

But when they accused Baekho of the same thing, I didn't fall for it. It was obvious at that point that it was done due to his success because the lack of evidence towards him was the biggest proof of it all and the female accusing him had so many inconsistencies to her claims. They could have brought up something that old (supposedly happened in 2008-2009) when he debuted and not right after PD101 ended. I even got hate on one of my anonymous forms for using his gif because some people didn't even bother checking whether it's true or not. So now I'm just wary of these things in general. There are terrible idols as we know about but a lot of male idols get accused without any proof or truth to it and I am happy that they quickly disapproved it in Seobin's case. There's a lot of misandry towards male idols as well and no one wants to admit to it, it's sad.

I have a feeling he'll be ok Mnet and JYP have a pretty good relationship if anything it'll be the YG boys that are made to look bad. Did anyone else realise that Midam got more screen time than any of the actual YG trainees and they kept referring to him as a YG trainee even though he's under a new label now...

Yeah they seem to want to build tension with the whole big 3 thing. They were even including the esteem trainees in mentions of the big3 in the competition

But they completely neglected his performance. We don't even know what rank he got or the rest of the boys from both AAPY and Yuehua, they also showcased self-produced songs just like BNM boys who got plenty of screentime (which honestly was expected). I don't think he's getting that great screentime. But it's ridiculous to refer to him as YG trainee.. they take away from his individuality, which is annoying. They keep referring to Han Gichan as a Ong look-like as well and he himself keeps saying things about Ong so they keep pushing him as next Ong which I also find annoying. I also don't understand why Seobin got PR to himself while none of the other trainees got it. And for the last, I saw people saying they're starting to dislike Dongpyo, for the way MNET constantly gives him screentime. MNET hurts a lot of trainees just by doing this, since it's a survival show, it's easy to feel dislike towards someone over something that they've no control of. :l

I haven't finished watching the episode yet, but I honestly like the 10+X rule already. Now shit like Jonghyun or Kaeun doesn't happen, where a trainee is in top11 constantly but doesn't make it in just because the people at Mnet are total asshats when it comes to final episodes.
